CONSENSUS STATEMENT - strengths/weaknesses of the 6 + 1 Traits model: we all agreed we liked the 6+1 traits for grading papers. It allows students to see on the rubric why they have received the grade they did. The only thing we did not like was the 6 point rubric. The aspects of one and two and five and six are very close, so it would be hard to choose which grade to give.
